An American college baseball player was seriously injured by a bullet during a game.
According to local media such as CNN on the 1st (local time), the accident occurred during a game between Texas A&M University-Texarkana and Houston-Victoria University held in Texarkana, Texas on the 29th of last month.
Matthew Delaney, 18, of Texas A&M University, was standing in the bullpen when he was hit in the chest by a bullet from outside the baseball field, police said. He was transported to a nearby hospital for surgery and is currently in an intensive care unit, and is in a stable condition with no damage to his life.
